Wingstop Leans on Loyalty and Digital Engagement to Fuel Global Growth

Wingstop is leaning on digital engagement, loyalty, and continued expansion as it works toward becoming a top-10 global restaurant brand, as QSR Magazine reports. With more than 3,000 restaurants and over $5 billion in systemwide sales, the chain generates more than 70% of its sales digitally and has built a database of more than 60 million users. Its recently launched Club Wingstop loyalty program is designed to build on that digital foundation, using benefits such as exclusive merchandise, members-only events, flavor launches, group ordering, and points sharing to deepen customer relationships and encourage more frequent visits. Rather than relying solely on discounts, Wingstop is positioning loyalty as a way to strengthen its connection with fans while expanding the brand’s reach to a broader audience.

Chipotle IQ Returns with New Ways to Reward Fan Engagement

Chipotle is bringing back its Chipotle IQ trivia experience with more than $1 million in free food and new features designed to deepen engagement with Chipotle Rewards members, as QSR Magazine reports. Running August 18–20, the game gives members in the U.S. and Canada opportunities to earn BOGO entrées, free menu items and rewards points by answering questions about the brand, while new Daily Streaks encourage members to return throughout the promotion. Chipotle is also adding a Silver Ticket Sweepstakes offering 53 fans free burritos for a year and introducing a limited-edition physical Chipotle IQ card game. The expanded experience follows more than 1.8 million Chipotle IQ quizzes completed last year—nearly double 2024 levels—and reflects the brand’s continued use of gamification, exclusive rewards and interactive experiences to keep loyalty members engaged beyond restaurant visits.
