Loyalty360 “Ask an Expert” Member Community Code of Conduct
The Loyalty360 “Ask an Expert” Member Community is a professional message board designed to foster meaningful discussion, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and collaboration among members of the customer loyalty industry. By participating in the community, you agree to uphold the following standards of behavior and engagement.
1. Be Professional, Respectful, and Constructive
This is a space for thoughtful, respectful dialogue.
DO:
- Speak to others as you would in a professional setting
- Debate ideas, not individuals
- Acknowledge differing viewpoints with curiosity, not hostility
- Refrain from sarcasm, inflammatory remarks, or personal criticism
DON’T:
- Harass, insult, or demean other members
- Use discriminatory, hateful, or offensive language
- Engage in personal attacks or trolling
2. Contribute Meaningful, Relevant Content
The goal of this forum is to elevate the conversation around customer loyalty, CX, data strategy, and adjacent topics.
DO:
- Share insights, ask thoughtful questions, and offer solutions
- Reference real-world challenges or examples where helpful
- Credit original sources when quoting reports or articles
DON’T:
- Post off-topic content or duplicate discussions
- Share memes, jokes, or non-business commentary
- Copy/paste promotional materials
3. No Sales Pitches or Vendor Promotions
This is not a marketing channel or lead generation tool.
DO:
- Offer insights as a technology partner or vendor when relevant to the topic
- Participate in discussions by sharing thought leadership, not sales collateral
- Respond to requests for tools or vendor insights with transparency and clarity
DON’T:
- Post unsolicited links, demos, or promotional content
- Spam the forum with product plugs or "solution selling"
- Add outbound links with tracking or lead forms
4. Protect Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Respect the proprietary nature of our industry.
DO:
- Speak in generalities if discussing sensitive topics
- Assume others are sharing in confidence—don’t cross-post elsewhere without permission
DON’T:
- Post client-specific data, screenshots, or internal documents
- Share information you are not authorized to disclose
5. Stay Verified and Transparent
To ensure trust and quality, participation is limited to verified Loyalty360 members.
DO:
- Keep your member profile up to date (role, company, etc.)
- Use your real name and business email for identification
DON’T:
- Create multiple accounts
- Misrepresent your affiliation or background
6. Follow Moderator Instructions
Loyalty360 moderators are responsible for ensuring a safe, respectful, and high-value environment.
DO:
- Respect moderator requests and redirections
- Use the “Report” feature if you see behavior that violates this Code
DON’T:
- Argue with moderators publicly
- Attempt to bypass moderation decisions
Enforcement and Accountability
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Content removal
- Formal warning from moderators
- Temporary suspension of posting privileges
- Permanent removal from the “Ask an Expert” community
Loyalty360 reserves the right to enforce these guidelines at its discretion in order to maintain the integrity and value of the community.
