Southwest Airlines and Singapore Airlines Launch New Global Partnership
Southwest Airlines and Singapore Airlines have announced a new interline partnership that will make international travel more seamless for customers around the world. Revealed during the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Annual General Meeting in Brazil, the agreement enables travelers to book single-ticket journeys connecting Southwest’s extensive U.S. network with Singapore Airlines’ global destinations. The partnership expands travel options for customers while creating a smoother and more convenient experience across both carriers.
The new collaboration strengthens Southwest’s growing portfolio of international airline partners and highlights the carrier’s ongoing investment in customer experience. The agreement also comes as Southwest continues to enhance its onboard experience through new features such as assigned seating, optional Extra Legroom seating and improved boarding processes designed to provide travelers with greater comfort and choice. The partnership arrives during a period of expansion for Southwest Airlines, which has added service to five new destinations in 2026, including St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten, Santa Rosa/Sonoma County, Knoxville and Anchorage.
